| The home to the right is called the "Chocolate Palace" which is one of the many private homes with a story. Patricia Mars of the Mars Candy Bar Company married Mr. Fleming who bought the building in a nearly ruined state and rebuilt it in the 1960's. The home is set on five acres and has a kitchen that serves 100 guests. You can imagine how lavish their many parties were. |  |

Well, did you enjoy the walk? Alamos truly has a beautiful residential district, doesn't it? You will also find the Mexican people who live here to be as beautiful as Alamos itself. This place is a magnificent oasis full of wonderful fragrances, smiles, and warmth. Alamos is vibrant. I suppose that is why people who visit Alamos either purchase property or make plans to purchase in the future. We did…within two weeks of our arrival.
